Modern Farmhouse: Craftsman

The house plans for this Springfield modern farmhouse were created by bringing together a particular style and all of the floor plan ideas the family has envisioned. This Craftsman style similar to the popular modern farmhouse is embraced by a wrap around porch that welcomes the family to relax. The detail of our home plans combined with the craftsmanship of the builder made this home come alive. It is so easy to imagine the children playing in the grass and on the large front porch...that's the real focus of the home..The Family.

Our design was geared to not only provide a beautiful modern farmhouse design, but to make it functional for our client and their family. As the family enters their home each day they have a cubby for each child, a place for Mom to drop the mail and Dad to see how much each child has grown. Continuing through the breezeway into the Kitchen / Breakfast nook the kid's naturally want to slide into the banquet and beg for a snack.

The Family Room is a fun mix of traditional mouldings and ceiling details with walls and shelves adorned with a bit of the homeowners whimsical personality! Stepping from the Family Room onto the rear Screened Porch is the perfect way to end the day relaxing while the children play in the grass and Mom and Dad visit about each other's day. Our house plans, created just north of Branson, Missouri, have full details ready to hand off to the builder where questions and errors truly are the exception.
